300 DPI at final print size is the commercial standard for sharp photos and logos on paper products.

DPI in plain English
DPI (dots per inch) describes how much detail a raster image holds when printed. For most flyers, cards and brochures, aim for 300 DPI at the final print size.
Images taken from websites or social media are often around 72 DPI — fine on screen, soft or pixelated in print.
Large format is different
Banners and posters are viewed from further away. Files often sit comfortably at 100–150 DPI at full size. See large format file setup.
Vectors vs photos
Logos and icons should be vector (AI, PDF, SVG) whenever possible — they stay sharp at any size. Photos are always raster, so resolution matters.
