How to supply a vector cut line so custom shapes cut cleanly.
What we need
Die cutting cuts material into shapes beyond a rectangle. Supply a vector cut line — often a spot swatch named CutContour — on its own layer.
- Cut path should be a clean closed shape.
- Offset artwork with bleed beyond the cut where colour meets the edge.
- Avoid ultra-fine spikes that tear or weed poorly.
