Digital vs lithographic printing
When digital is faster and when litho becomes more cost-effective on higher volumes.

Digital printing
Best for shorter runs, variable data, and faster turns. Setup is typically lighter than litho, so small quantities stay practical.
Lithographic (offset) printing
Best for higher volumes where unit cost improves as quantity grows. Colour consistency across a long run is a strength when the job is set up correctly.
How we choose
We route by quantity, deadline, stock and finishing — not a one-line rule for every product. Build a campaign in the Marketing Planner, or ask us for advice on your brief.
Note: We don’t publish invented crossover prices here — stocks and finishes change the maths.
